Old Style Chinese Kung Fu, Irish & Filipino Stick Fighting, and Little Warrior Classes for ages 5yrs-12yrs, Cead Bua has all the instruments to help work out body, mind, and spirit. Owned and operated by 3-time Canadian Kung Fu Champion and best-selling author, Sifu Glen Doyle, Cead Bua’s training area is uniquely traditional, emphasizing time tested methods of instruction where you’ll not only get in shape, but learn authentic techniques that can easily be used for self defense. Stick Fighting: Cead Bua is the only martial arts club in the world teaching the Irish Stick Fighting Style of Rince an Bhata Uisce Bheatha, passed down to Sifu Doyle from his father Greg Doyle. This 18th century stick fighting style is being taught outside the Doyle family for the first time ever! Cead Bua also offers the best of Filipino stick fighting in the style of La Punti Arnis de Abanico taught by an elite martial artist Sifu Dave Ellsmere, who studied extensively on the Philippines. Little Warriors: For ages 5yrs-12yrs, Cead Bua’s Little Warrior program gives kids their all-important first influence in discipline, respect, and honour while passing on practical martial art techniques and philosophies.
